Starkville, MS, May 9, 2002, Synergetics DCS, Inc. is relocating its corporate headquarters in Starkville, MS to 501 Highway 12 West. The 100,000 sq. ft. facility was formerly occupied by Motorguide. Synergetics will occupy 20,000 sq. ft. of the space. The move allows Synergetics to expand its existing office and technical space. Renovations are currently underway and Synergetics expects the renovations and its move to be completed by June 3. Prairie Opportunity, a federally funded, community action agency whose assistance enables area residents to become self-sufficient, will also lease 3000 sq. ft. of the building. The remainder of the space will be available for commercial development.

The acquisition of the building will allow Synergetics to continue to grow its existing business. Since February, Synergetics increased its staff by 39% with the addition of nine new employees to accommodate its growth and has plans for additional hires in the near future.
